EVERYONE here should already know what MetaData is, what it contains and have the eternal vigilance to control that data about yourself in photos and other media.
Now's the perfect time to toggle OFF geolocation and other attributes via your phone and other devices.
You should ALWAYS be conscious of what hidden data goes along for the ride when you send a photo or video & control that for the privacy, safety and security of you and your family members.
Then share this technique and knowledge with others in your circle, so they ALSO protect YOUR privacy and security. All it takes is for one yahoo in your group to expose everyone else to the predatory animals of the world.
Sounds paranoid... but, it isn't. It's called being a responsible adult in 2025 and not being an NPC beanbag with "nothing to hide".
