Well until medbeds appear, have you looked into red light therapy? Search for "red light therapy pod". You can get cheaper ones that are like a sleeping bag filled with the LEDs. I don't know if it will help your scoliosis, but a quick search of "vitamin d and scoliosis" brought up a blog article on this site:
