The oldest city in America, widely recognized, is St. Augustine, Florida. Founded in 1565 by Catholic Spain, it is the oldest continuously inhabited city of European.
The first Christian church established in San Miguel Mission in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which was built in 1610.

Yeah, there existed ONE church for over a millenia until a rebellious Catholic Monk took it upon himself to edit the bible, remove books & add words. Greedy Princes jumped on the movement & stole church property & created their own new religons. King Henry VIII, unhappy in his marriage, asked Rome for a divorce & when he was denied, he also stole church property & made himself his own Pope if the Anglican church. The Protestant Revolution was a looting operation & it led to endless wars in Europe... I get it, I'd likely remain on Rome's side if ny King was only interested in dgetting his dick wet with Anne Boylin... who he later killed!!! 😆
It's no coincidence that in God's providence was at work when the Catholic Empire discovered America, brought the faith to the New world & led to the conversion of over 9 million indians after the Virgin Mary appeared in 1536. While Europe was loosing the faith, it flourished in the Americas. God is GREAT!

Jesus did say we would be hated to speaking the truth & following him. Most people want to hear what they want to hear vs. reconcilling themselves difficult truth.
That's why there's 45,000 protestant denominations that continue to divide amoungst themselves. It would be funny if it wasn't so tragic!!!! wait, is that really how many Protestant churches popped up into being over the past 500 years? YUP! And many use the Catholic Bible to bash the Catholic Church... talk about arrogance!
Sorry if I reject all those false religions & stick with the original. Hate me all you want, but you've been told the truth & you can't claim ignorance on your day of Judgement.
