That coca extract might have a lil something to do with it.
There hasn't been coke in coca-cola for 100 years, friend. Caffeine and sugar are the two addictive chemicals in that drink.
But the Coca leaves are still in there and as a matter of fact Coca-Cola remains the only legal importer of the leaves for the express purpose of retaining the distinct "flavor" of Coca-Cola; they strip out the cocaine and give it to the government who shares some with the pharmaceutical industry and then "destroys" the rest aka gives it to the CIA to sell on the streets all over the world...
They still make it with coca leaf today. They use what is left after processing it to make pharmaceutical cocaine.
