In 2025, US farmers are eligible for a $10 billion emergency commodity assistance program (ECAP) to address losses from the 2024 crop year. Applications for this program are accepted from March 19 to August 15, 2025. Additionally, the Farm Bill extension, which was approved in November 2024, gives Congress more time to finalize a new farm bill.
