I've toyed with this from time to time passages such as
Psalms 139:13-16 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed and in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.
and
Ephesians 2:4-7 God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
But have never been able to form a cogent analysis to hold such a hypothesis together. I keep coming back to one place - that our passage through this life is so we can understand without any doubt that without God we are completely and utterly lost, of ourselves we can do nothing God is Christ has done it all for us. With such conclusion I cannot find we are in a Matrix type scenario.
The bible can be used as evidence for us living in a simulation
