Wonder if it’s related to the request for National Guardsmen to assist DHS. Apparently they submitted a request for 20,000 Guardsmen.

Though he has referenced an upgrade for the F-22. And the F-35s replacement tentatively named the F-55.

So it could be the formal announcements of those
