Also it would seem that a sinus flushing nasal irrigator is going to be necessary, squeeze bottle flush not adequate. What unit is the best to buy?

Nebulize hydrogen peroxide. Make sure to use saline and hydrogen peroxide in the exact proportions indicated. Amazon has a ton of nebulizers; and saline as well as food grade hydrogen peroxide (get the correct %.)

Also- Just get a simple neti-pot and salt for the same and learn how to irrigate sinuses with that.
