Of course, regional news blames it on Global Warming. Great cover for weather manipulation. For three weeks our region of Western New York has been under attack. The most bizarre weather I’ve ever experienced anywhere, anytime. From hail to bitter cold to strange skies to utter gloom and grey. Has there been late springs before? Sure. But none that felt quite like this. The cold feels strange—it’s a metallic, raw cold that goes right to your bones—-it’s a January cold. Once in a while these weird clouds part and the sun comes through and you can feel the warmth for a minute or two. It’s been literal weeks of this—not just here but many places in the northeast. I know what cold springs have felt like in the past. Never, ever a bizarre cold like this.
Strangest of all is that I’m a really sensitive person—to drugs, to weather changes, to caffeine—-I have a hard time tolerating much about this world—and I’ve been sick the entire three weeks—it’s hard to breathe. My bloodwork came back yesterday showing four distinct issues with the oxygen in my blood—making too many red blood cells to compensate for something. We run the air purifier but I’m at a point I just want to leave for awhile. Whatever the hell they’re spraying in the skies has really messed this region up. No tourism. No one is outside. Rain, cold, raw. Nearly 21 days in a row.
I heard on the radio they’re expecting ten hurricanes this season.
I think weather manipulation is truly one of our biggest problems on earth. They’re ramping it up and it’s only going to get worse.
I live in rural America with a lot of farms. They’re messing with the seasons here and my neighbors’ ability to make food.
In my corner of east Tennessee (mountainous and at about 1,200 ft elevation) we have had an almost-constant low pressure phenomenon here for well over two months now. I keep a barometer on my dresser and check it daily to see how my arthritis is going to behave that day... low pressure, more joint pain, especially in my fingers. Supposedly the average barometric pressure for this area is 29.8 millibars, but for the past two months, maybe longer, it has run between 1 to 5 millibars BELOW that average. We've had many rain and thunderstorms this spring and today is a nice respite with sunshine...so maybe my garden will thrive after all.
But the persistent low-pressure for this long is quite unusual, and I suspect that something geological and tectonic is going on to cause it. We had a fairly unusual 4.1 earthquake here about 2 weeks ago, the epicenter was about 30 miles from my house, but I felt it. This is an active seismic area, and small earthquakes that we normally don't feel, in the 1.5 to 2.1 range, occur a lot, but a 4.1 is quite noteworthy.
I don't know what is the cause of all this, but I remain watchful and am open to comments and thoughts on the subject.
