I don't think it even matters if they have land nearby our bases for this kind of attack to happen here. In fact if China wanted to do that to us they probably wouldn't want us to know it was them anyway.
I feel like it is naive of us to not assume that with all the cargo and freight sent here from China that they don’t already have nuclear weapons hidden in our cities.
