Because the Catholic Church is the largest religious institution with the most power and corruption. Protestantism is like herding cats. When my catholic raised parent found out they could have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ they never stepped foot in a Catholic Church again. The banner of Protestantism is so broad it basically means not Catholic. The word Catholic has been subjugated to a new meaning and I see what you’re trying to do. Jesus called Satan out of Peter’s mouth for less than this.
How do you feel about the fact that you have missing books in your bible & words added to the gospels by mere men in order to justify a new and seperated religion from the original Religion established by Jesus & his Apostles.
Does the Church have its enemies within? Yes; do I abandon her in hopes of attaining salvation by other means? No.
People say they believe the bible. Then why don't they speak in tongues? I'll wait for all the fake theology people claim to avoid this powerful leaver of prayer that Paul himself said he thanked God he did it more then ue all. He also told us not to forbid people to do it. An act that every born again one was able to do in the book of acts. Most people do their best totals themselves out of the power God gave them. Denying this power is error.
