the good news is that it isn't "funded" by the protesters full passion. They aren't there under duress but they are funded so that they don't have a financial stake. They are paid. So they aren't really resistors. Perhaps there is no authemtic local resistance. Only financial coercion by remote benefactors. There is only one authentically prevailing notion, after all.
