Actually they had to slice through the giant self-healing waterbed in the sky and go into submarine mode to get to the projector that puts the false image of the moon and stars that was put there by Satan to fool us into thinking we live on a ball Earth. Every month they sabotage the projector which is why the moon seems to disappear. Then Satan fixes the projector a bit at a time until the image comes back completely. That is why we have the "Full Moon" and the "New Moon."
