This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.

It's purple for you, eh. I know I said red, but upon closer look, mine's pink at the top and fades into red at the bottom. Aren't computers quirky! 💻😝

When I first got it, I did do some updates and it seemed to make some things worse. Didn't work the same, features changed or became pay for. I had to uninstall what updates that I could.
My old tablet is stuck on a google maps update screen and I can't get out of it, so can't use maps anymore. It updated fine on this tablet, thank goodness!
I worked in restaurants and every time the IT tech guys came in to fix one thing on our POS's, they'd break five others! 😅
Once I get a new tablet and have it up and running, I may try doing updates on this one, just to see what happens. A lot of my favorite websites won't load anymore. I probably miss explore.org the most.
That's a wise decision... I've lost lots of research on previous phones, now I try to back things up on an external drive. When technology works it's wonderful, but when it doesn't, it's so frustrating. 😵💫
