Our taxes have been collected by the antichrist. Our news stations, podcasts, television shows and movie theaters have been run by the antichrist all this time. Nope. Not shaking in my boots for the antichrist, not even a little bit. By now, we all already know, that satan lost, and we have won through Christ. Just curious. How are all these "end of time" predictions fitted with "But as to that day and the exact time no one knows--not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone." ?

Or whichever translation people might prefer, but that piece at least seems to be something where no matter what translation the meaning doesn't change. If it is supposed to come as a surprise, come as "thief in the night", you should not be able to predict it, no matter what seems to be going on, right? Even if there are certain circumstances that should happen around that time, they then, or something very similar, might happen a lot of times before the actual event may finally come.
