Read it again carefully. Figure out which part of this text was attributed to 1871 and which part of this text is Carr's own interpretation. Check which part of the text refers to Nazis and which refers to Atheists and Nihilists.

C'mon anon, don't fall for narratives so easily. I know all the efforts they have gone into trying to discredit the Pike's letter, and part of the smear is to attribute Carr's words to Pike. You are smarter than that.
