Your mention of Agent Smith makes no sense, you refuse to see what Islam is so by logic you took the blue pill than the red pill.
By you trying to justify Islam is peaceful is like me trying to say socialism is harmless, nothing you will say changes that.
Just because they're not attacking out in the open doesn't mean in the future they'll not eventually do what their religion tells them to do, even if you have common ground with them.
It will not change what they want in the end, the way of Islam is to conquer through Jihad.
Take a look at Europe, and don't blindside what they're doing over there to the people who live in those lands.
They're deliberately trying to their host nations into Caliphates at one point, their demands of Sharia Law are an example.
