I bet it makes Obama become ineligable to be President. Trump always said that when he is done it will be like Obama never existed. This is how to do it, it may take a few steps but that one is a big one. His mother was not a US citizen because she had not lived in the US for 2 years after turning 17.

Also, she was too young to convey citizenship to Obama based on the law at the time. Plus, you have to have both parents be citizens at birth to be a natural born citizen and eligible to be President. Side note: all of Trump's kids are eligible to be President because the father can convey citizenship on the mother for this purpose. Just a little quirk. It was a lot more patriarchal back when the law was written.
But he’s born in Kenya.
Doesn't matter. Ted cruz was born in Canada.
The law as it is right now just says as long as one parent is an American citizen it counts
Natural born citizenship means citizenship obviously derived from the facts of the birth with no complexities or foreign countries involved.
To be a natural born citizen requires all 3 of the below:
1 American father
2 American mother
3 birth in America
Natural born citizenship is a special kind of citizenship that only relates to eligibility to be president and VP. It has nothing to with whether one is simply a citizen who can live, work, and spend their life in the USA.
The birth in America was challenged with No Name and it was found that he was able to run for president when he was born outside America.
Correct. Kamala wasn't Natural Born either. And fun fact: she was 0% black. All of her color comes from her Indian mother.
Even if, a yuge if, BO was a natural born citizen he forfeited it when his mother married Lolo Soetoro and Lolo adopted him as juvenile and had him attend school in Indonesia. One must be a citizen of Indonesia to attend said school and Indonesia does not recognize dual citizenship. At best BO be naturalized which is not the same as natural born; at least as far as being eligible to be Potus.
I think we should model American citizenship laws on those of the Gulf countries.
Something something no ex post facto laws
