Im celebrating hard today. I started with biscuits and gravy for breakfast (I rarely have it but it always reminds me of Americana). Having bacon cheese burgers for dinner with my parents, and enjoying the fireworks. Praising The Lord for it all.
We are BBQing a brisket we raised from our own wagyu beef cattle. We made homemade potato salad using our own home canned pickles from our own garden cucumbers, onions from our garden and fresh red potatoes. We are heading to our daughter & son-in-law + 3 grandchilfrens house to eat. They've been BBQing chicken and making beans. After dark, we will watch a fireworks display across the county-road from their home orchestrated by the local VFD. I'll be wearing a shirt that says "Jesus is my savior. Trump is my President." I'll be drinking an ice cold beer in a koozie that says "Trump Girl" My husband will be wearing his shirt "Proud Dad that didn't raise liberals" given to both of us by our son. His cold beer will be in a koozie that says "Never apologize for being right." All guests at the party will be of the same mindset, wearing red white and blue. The flags will be flying. Thanks be to God for this wonderful day.
