Have you seen American Sniper by Clint Eastwood?

Someone becomes an informant for us and gets killed because the bad guys found out his name and tortured and killed both him and his son.

There's times when keeping the source anonymous is the right thing to do.

It's just that the fake news hides their crimes behind it often.
