Okay, I can agree with that on a very natural level. That is self evident. We are taught when we are young to not lean into being a victim. Since everyone is embattled whether they know it or not, it is the height of selfishness to focus on yours above others common suffering.
Some lives are absolutely more persecuted than others and there is and shoud be a triage of sorts when it comes to productively trying to reduce the suffering that permeates. imo the best FIRST way to do that is to not be choosey. Just start reducing the suffering of others in the most unobtrusive ways. Go from there until you notice your own suffering is being reduced and that it is absolutely connected. Be patient and forget expectations. Also look into radical acceptance.
