What is gold and silver concentrate? Sounds like something they make juice from.
It is an acid base with dissolved gold/silver in it-it can be extracted by simple but somewhat dangerous chemistry.
To recover gold from aqua regia, you can follow these steps: 911 Metallurgist Place your gold or finely powdered ore in a Pyrex container breaker. Mix 1 part nitric acid to 3 parts hydrochloric acid in a separate glass or plastic container. Add the acid mixture, very slowly, to the Pyrex container or beaker containing the ore. On stove or hot plate, simmer until the gold is in solution and nitric acid is boiled off. Adjust the pH of the aqua regia solution to in the range of about 2 to 4 and then add reducing agent thereto to precipitate metallic gold from solution. 1
Sounds like a job for a meth lab.
Probably more points towards an inside job. If it was a Cartel Outfit or other criminal group. Probably wouldn’t have thought much about Icing the Driver and Security Detail.
Which would suggest that it was a Group of inexperienced people who ultimately didn’t want to hurt anyone, or an inside job by company employees who ultimately didn’t want to harm their Coworkers. Or the Driver and Detail were inside men for the group who held them up.
Further reinforcing the idea there’s more to this than meets the eye.
