Pizzagate already basically ran its course by the time Q first dropped. Censorship crushed the topic and new information was starting to run thin anyway. Plus that (likely fake) Comet Ping Pong shooter guy threw kind of a wrench in it as well. There was an FBI Anon that got a lot of folks talking just prior to the 2016 election time, too, if I remember correctly. We had already moved on to the Mandalay Bay shooting just prior to the first Q.
The Comet Ping Pong shooter was interesting because someone found that the traffic cameras around the restaurant had been turned around just before it happened. There was so much that I barely remember everything, but from my understanding, the investigation was still going strong on voat and or pol.
