Why would we allow China to keep or use anything they “owned” within our borders in a situation as suggested?? Unless I’m misunderstanding lol

Lol maybe I am. I guess I don't really get what "we have all the mining sites still" means either. Other countries would still own their own, not ours. That's kinda what I meant by nationalized resources.
