My favorite areas are either on the western side of the state or on the Wyoming Colorado border. If you are in to camping at all we go every couple of weeks right around the border, it’s all BLM land and very secluded.
Thanks IFB. We did a recon trip to Saratoga and camped a few places in the Snowies lastly week. Fantastic areas. I forget if you’re in calirado or up there.
Saratoga is definitely nice, we’re in Wyoming now but did live in CO for about 7 years. The red feather lakes area is definitely worth checking out for some awesome camping (northern CO) and it’s all BLM so no campgrounds, free and away from other people.
First we went to Utah and just recently moved again to Wyoming haha
