The Democrats can either acknowledge they were wrong and see Trumps support skyrocket in the short term, or they can continue to attack the platform with increasingly extreme rhetoric. The problem with doubling down on what they’re doing is that they’ll keep losing support as people start waking up. That, combined with many of their supporters being deported could be the end of their party.
