I know that was rough. Went to school with a great guy who was an attorney living and working in NYC. He sent out a long email about that day.

From the moment the planes hit until he left his office, walking home, getting his wife, kids & dog and taking a ferry to get the heck out of Dodge. I can't imagine how harrowing it was because I was in anguish reading his thoughts about gathering up his family and getting them to safety. Now, just imagine that thousands of times over. 💔
