Meaning of Hauermann is "worm man":

I can only wonder about the persuasion he has wielded as a prosecutor and the injustice (and hopefully in some cased justice) people have faced because of him.

This is Punch and Judy Theater, slapstick comedy playing out. Some people would say Kabuki theater, but it doesn't rise to that level imo.
