BTW, it was the same plan during all the crusades, for hundreds of years where the Holy Land became the fulcrum for never ending conflict in the middle east between the Arabs and Christian kings.
Is it a coincidence that the muslim capture of the holy land started even during the lifetime of Muhammad and fell shortly after that ?
One could say that the creation of Islam itself is part of this longer game plan and there is nothing different right now to what was happening then but just a continuation of the same plan under different "management"
