I agree with this take. As I’m involved in modern construction, there is absolutely no way we could even contemplate building some of the ancient cathedrals and structures.
Compare the crude construction methods used in European castles with the cathedrals we were taught were built at the same time in some cases. Impossible.
We have lost some form of construction technology, techniques and knowledge.
