You don't appreciate the simplicity of the Gospel.
That's because you never read them. How are you honestly debating with a lack of knowledge of the subject?
I have read them, recently actually. Look at John 21:25. How can you assert that scripture is the entire Word of God when the Gospel itself says that Jesus said and did so much more than what's written there, in his ministry?
But I get it. You have your dogmas and we have ours
When Abiding by the Word. Dogmas are not useful or needed..Only the Truth will lead to salvation.
Of Course Jesus did many works not recorded in script.
However none of them violated His Father's will.
Anything key to salvation God informs His Children. God will not have us ignorant in these matters.
Thats
God doesn't leave us ignorant. You can look at Acts to see how it happens. Chapters 10-11 show an extreme change in the rules God expexts his people to follow, allowing them to associate with gentiles and eat their food. This revelation didn't come from the Gospel, or from any teachings of Jesus before his ascension. (While Jesus was on earth he obeyed the law of Moses perfectly.) God simply revealed this to his Church, and after careful deliberation they accepted it.
No one is saying scripture isn't the Word of God. Try again.
