I do not believe it has to do with Pork at all. just look at these numbers of pork consumption in Germany p/Person per Year. 1970s: 110.7 lbs 1980s: 128.1 lbs

in those decades Germans where not obese nor sick.

2024 they halved Pork consumption, and are sicker.
