As abhorrent as violence is, sometimes Teddy Roosevelts “Big stick” has to be broken out of its case and used from time to time. Only this time, that stick is even deadlier and stealthier with a lightning quick striking force when deployed.
The concept of “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.” is applicable. Maduro has elected to play a very stupid and painful game. Ask Noreaga (?) of Panama how that game goes…..
This administration is definitely ANTI-WAR but is also not stupid and understands that the best insurance policy for such is to have a STRONG DoD coupled with the willingness to use it as necessary IF and WHEN all other diplomatic measures do not attain the desired results. The primary purpose of a strong DoD is to protect a strong border and the safety of its civilian population against adversarial threats. In this case we are looking at a drug kingpin dictator (Maduro) whose socialist govt has failed his constituents as he is enriching his own net worth at not only his country’s expense, but also the USAs as well.
So yes. The Trump Administration is ANTI-WAR and is giving the vast majority voters what they voted for: Peace through strength with God (Christian values) back at the helm.
