The author forgot the part where the eagle then descends like a rock from its higher vantage to take the crow out. Seen it. Eagles gain height to gain sight and advantage. When the time is right and most advantageous it uses that advantage. Not being metaphorical being literal but interesting it works both ways. Beautiful principle and I agree but I think there is more to learn from observing nature.
