While I am not in favor of putting the military in cities to be law enforcement. The local politicians will not do their job and prosecute and stop crime. It seems they encourage. So in that case, the Federal Gov't has to step in. It is not the first time a President has had to step in to stop Democrats. President John F. Kennedy issued Executive Order 11111, which federalized the Alabama National Guard, and Guard General Henry V. Graham then commanded Wallace to step aside.
