An hour or two away? Are you European? I've had 2 hour comutes to work (and then 2 hours back) daily. This wasn't a rural area. Rural areas I've been in EVERYTHING is far away but pasture and fields. How often do you see the Dr.? Can you co-ordinate trips with friends?
