And yes we can forgive people, but that doesn't mean that we are doormat to them. My sister is a really good example of this. She was a really rebellious woman she was in and out of jail for the better part of two decades. I forgave her for what she did to me but that doesn't mean that I have to trust her, and it doesn't mean that I have to let her treat me the way she did before.

You don't let those that abuse you keep abusing you. Its not like they're being denied service, you're just not giving them your service.
