I think that if Charlie hadn't been wearing a bullet proof vest, his wound would have been non-fatal. I saw a graphic of the shooter's position. It was head-on to Charlie. I had thought he was off to the side because it looked like the bullet hit the top of his vest and continued on to his neck. But, being head-on, the bullet hit in the clavicle area then the spall went to his neck. Without the vest he probably would have had only a shoulder wound. Don't get me wrong. I don't blame him for wearing a vest at all. I certainly would have. Just ironic.
