It's a challenge for all of us. That's why The Lord never left it up to our own ability and power. We make a choice to forgive by having faith in Jesus and His shed blood that He has given us His own power by The Holy Spirit to love and forgive. Simply ask The Lord in prayer to help you forgive and it doesn't matter what words you use in prayer as long as it's sincerely from your heart and then agree with Him that He's already given you the power to forgive because He said whatever we ask without doubting, we will receive.
By forgiving, you’re not condoning what the offender did- you’re simply choosing not to hate them (i.e., resent them), which would only serve to eat you up inside while they go about their merry way, since they have no conscience anyway (that’s how satan wins). Forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself.
When you hold on to unforgiveness, it harms you. If your forgiveness depends on the other party repenting, you may be setting yourself up for a long time of bitterness and emotional pain. The perpetrator doesn’t “get away with it” when you forgive. There are still consequences to evil acts.
“Vengeance is mine, says the Lord. I will repay.”
(And God will do a much better job of it than you ever could.)
If your forgiveness depends on the other party repenting, you may be setting yourself up for a long time of bitterness and emotional pain.
And if you're going around forgiving people when they have no intention of repenting, then you're facilitating their sinful nature and you're not helping them.
You're personally failing on faith, hope & love, because you don't think helping your brother to salvation is real or possible, and you just plain don't care.
Once you are in Christ, you are no longer a sinner anymore. It is impossible for The Holy Spirit to dwell in someone who is a sinner.
Romans 8:1-2 states:
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."
Repentance is for those who have not yet entered the kingdom of heaven. Repentence is just the first step. Jesus role is not just savior. In fact He is rarely referred to as savior in the bible. He is mostly called our Lord or King. Jesus told us to preach the Gospel of THE KINGDOM.
Sorry if I did not make my point clear. You mentioned she never once mentions the sinner repenting. My point is that this video is for those who have already repented.
Plus it will be like heaping hot coals on their heads.
Forgiveness is my challenge...

I do everyday fren. My challenge is with people like the shooter and all of the evil doers that we study here. There is nothing new under the sun...

It IS! God's Grace is OVERWHELMING! 🙌
It seems to challenge us all sister. But it sure feels good when you can let stuff go.
All those words in the very long feeling three minutes of hippy-Jesus gobbledygook, and she never once mentions the sinner actually repenting.
Giving people like this a mouthpiece was a huge mistake.

Well... yes? I have no idea what your point is.
