You are touching on a very important tenet of Post-Modernism (and as a direct extension, Neo-Marxism).

1. They change the name of something to the opposite of what it is:

• Patriot Act (targets patriots in actuality)
• Women's Reproductive Rights (not a right in actuality)
• Open Borders (intentionally importing monsters in actuality)
• Democracy (destroying the voice of the people in actuality)

With this strategy, they gain support from those who otherwise would be repulsed by what these things actually are.

2. They change the definition of a word through cultural engagement:

• Vaccine (allowed the COVID jab to be pushed)
• Woman (obfuscates and distracts from the deadliness of transgender ideology)
• Fetus/Baby (allows one to sleep at night while supporting a new holocaust)
• Terrorist (gov can oppress anyone who dissents with this one)

As for your first question, I think the war on language is focused on English because that's what everyone is speaking. That's the avenue for the power and control they want. Spanish has gender codified into the language, so they would never make any progress, distracted by restructuring the language itself. Other languages simply don't have the audience they seek.
