This is gross but I'll tell you a story. When I broke my back, I laying in bed of course and started smoking. Eventually, I started having a wheezing in my lungs. X rays showed lungs were clear but I still had it.

Couple days later I was laying in bed coughing badly so I lay my chest against the side of the bed applying pressure on my lungs. I coughed
Up this white sticky stuff. 😬 I could have hung a picture on the wall with it. Every since then. I dont have the wheezing anymore.
