Does anyone who knows anything about firearms and basic ballistics believe the .30-06 theory? Kirk's body was so tough, it internally deflected itself, potentially saving lives?

I just got to the "what if something 'exploded' inside his tshirt?" That's where I'm at. Latex, compressed air, blood pack, encrypted frequency to make a fake rifle from a dude that doesn't exist due to signature reduction. Nothing adds up.
There is a theory about that too, that it was his wireless mic exploding:
