Could it be as simple as the bullet tumbled and keyholed instead of flying straight with proper spin? Many things can cause this like incorrect weight or type of ammo ,damage or fouling of the rifling and damage to the crown of the barrel . And has anyone seen the so called engraved rounds? Did he engrave the casing or the bullet itself?
