Symbolism can become symbolic through the application of comms over generations or even heavy applications. Symbolism can also be co opted. The cross was a symbol of criminality until Christ arose after dying on one. Fish were a symbol of Poseidon until the hidden church used it differently to signal each other that they were believers. Read Jung and his research. Symbolism doesn’t have any power more than we give it. Various beliefs systems primarily pagan believe symbols have power in and of themselves. I do not. The constant application may over time create an ancestral memory and that can give it power IMHO. The same way getting eaten by predators make us default to fight or flight when being chased. IMHO symbols as a channel for consciousness is just a way to hide the inherent power we have as children of God. Here this symbol has power not you have power through God who made you and gave you access to him and his power.
I think we need to be both very cautious and also completely irreverent toward symbols. Cautious that we don’t add to the stolen attention from the true source of all power by the Streisand effect. Pepe is a good example of just that. We all love Pepe but he wasn’t a symbol for us until the Left made him one by completely misrepresenting Pepe. We in turn chose that Hill to defend. Early Pepe isn’t current Pepe. It was used here and there in memes some loved some hated but not required reading for the movement in anyway. Sign language was codified in the 17th century. Humans have been making up their own signs since we began to hunt. Is it possible the dude created hidden satanic messages in sign language 🤔 maybe it would be a very interesting dig. Do I think it likely honestly no because it is a spoken language constantly evolving and if he did it would be an incredibly big waste of time as the signs evolved. Besides why? What purpose what use. I genuinely hope you do a dig and find those answers it would be interesting for sure

You mentioned reading Carl Jung. Yes, I grew up with his theories in public school. That's who "they" put in front of us. Who didn't they push? Jordan Maxwell. HE challenges public teachings and is not for the "faint of heart", but if you listen with an open mind, you will understand a bit more how EVERYTHING has been manipulated, over time. Spelling is SPELLS for one example. He teaches the origins of "words" and how they're used, etc.
I tend to give more credence to someone "they've" suppressed and censored, than the accepted, group think versions.
