Wife and I discovered an amazing secret early on in our lives. Its some random book called "Pink Elephant" that we picked up in some bookstore and while most of the book was boring, the key concept of Pink Elephant is the obvious thing ("Pink elephant") someone is trying to hide by keep claiming its not there.

This concept is so powerful because within 10 mins of talking to someone, we can figure out what their pink elephant is and it gives us an insight into what kind of people they are and whether we can trust them.
