I achieved my American dream, with very hard work, and still do. Not for wealth or power, that does not appeal to me. All I wanted as a little girl growing up in Queens was to get out of the city, own some land in a beautiful countryside, live like a pioneer, grow food and raise animals. It took hard work, but I never had to work at something I did not believe in, I liked taking care of people. I have a nice house, full finished basement, gorgeous gardens, 5 acres of land on a mountainside and a million dollar view. I am not wealthy, but dont tell me that when i sit outdoors and look at the stars, no light pollution, a full belly of good food, hens and goats sleeping in a barn full of hay. No college, just hard work, free, on land that my son will get. I was not so lucky in marraige, but I guess you cannot have it all. It really was hard back in the day to find a man who wanted to keep and share this. Not so more, I see, the young based men of today were not around back then. The Viet Nam war took so many men from my generation and messed them up really bad. The rest wanted status and wealth, cleaning out barns and going hunting was not their idea of a good time. I was born at the wrong time. Too early and too late on both ends.
They have always tried very hard to be the ones to select who/what families have wealth and power. With American Capitalism, unless they have control of the system, what they do tend to keep trying then lose it again, they do not have control over who gains great wealth, or who's ideas become the ideals in the country, anyone can if their personal situation is right and they work hard to achieve it. People that they do not have control of and THAT is a threat to them.
This is why our American way of life is under attack from outside sources and leftists and their terrorists inside America. They do not want you to have your freedoms.
American capitalism has made a remarkable impact on the global economy, lifting a billion people out of poverty over the past 30 years as emerging economies engaged in global trade. I love American capitalism for its limitless opportunities. If you’re willing to take risks and work hard, you can achieve your dreams. While many other countries may restrict your potential, here in America, you have the chance to break free from an 8-hour shift and forge your own path to success.
American capitalism embodies the spirit of hundreds of millions of citizens who believe in its historical successes in fostering innovation, economic growth, and prosperity. Despite criticisms regarding wealth inequality, environmental challenges, and economic instability, it remains a powerful force for progress.
This market-driven system fuels entrepreneurship, risk-taking, and technological advancement through healthy competition. The U.S. private sector drives a significant portion of the nation’s GDP and leads in technology investment.
A defining feature of the U.S. system is its dedication to individual opportunity, empowering people to succeed based on their own merits rather than inherited status.
In the last 50 years, the U.S. has witnessed impressive increases in GDP and personal consumption per capita, alongside enhancements in longevity and leisure, showcasing the enduring potential for success and growth.
I do not advocate for violence. Just Justice and our American way of life.
