I totally agree. If there is just people yelling stuff and they're not coming into the ICE building then ICE needs to let them have their say. But, if they block traffic, become violent or hinder ICE in any way then it's jail time.

They are literally in the streets, aka "blocking traffic". Americans have the right to protest, yes, but they do NOT have the right to impinge on other citizens' rights, including but not limited to going to their damned job and using PUBLIC streets for their intended use--aka, DRIVING on them. Public streets are not made for a bunch of asshats to stand around shouting vulgarities and stopping others from using them.
There are reasons there are permits for things that block off public streets--because concessions have to be made for those who would normally travel on them. And typically, streets are not blockaded off every damned day of the week for people with no jobs to cause trouble.
These people aren't just having their say, they are ruining everyone else's day and blocking federal property. Fuck these blue-haired loudmouths and man-bun beta males. They can either move their angry little tantrums out of the street or they can be put down.
