During her job interview with/ Charlie she was reportedly very forward, saying "you're not gonna be my boss, you're going to be my husband.

No. This is backwards. I watched her tell the story. Charlie is the one who told her at the end of the interview that he wasn't hiring her because he wanted to date her. During her tribute to Charlie, Candace showed text conversations she and Charlie had when they met their future spouses that showed how excited and hopeful he was when he met Erika.
