Guys, I'm traveling between airports today and can't find anything but CNN... what is the latest REAL news on the perp(s) in the LSD church inciden.?

Here's a link to a Michigan article I found from yesterday that has a lot of info about him but doesn't point to any reason behind his actions. Looks like they're laying out the familiar groundwork to push for a gun grab based on him being a veteran. (just my opinion)
