The firefighters at the scene suspected that he used gasoline or some other accelerant (sp?) to start the fire. Which means , how? Did he start the fire before he drove through, how did he get upstairs, was it ignited with a ied? That fire took off very quickly. I really hate having to ask these questions, but apparently the FBI took over the investigation almost immediatly, which would clamp down on local investigations. Color me jaded, but at this point I would trust local sherrifs, detectives, and fire marshalls to give us the details honestly instead of the feds. Now we will only know what they want us to believe.
